If you have yet to read the overview with goals and objectives of this movie, please take a few minutes to do so by clicking here. I believe our movie should be drama filled, but extremely factual as well. A combination of the movie JFK and Crash would be good. Intense, action filled, and factual. What’s most alarming to me in the above clip is Obama’s statement that we need a Civilian National Security Force as powerful as our Military. That’s because it is unconstitutional for the Military to get involved in civilian stuff. And when Obama tries to take away our guns, he knows he will need more than the local police. This guy is a Marx’s, Fascist, Socialist. Not to mention, an idiot! How about a middle class family that is about to go under because someone got laid off and they can't sell the house to pay off the exhorbanant mortgage because they owe more than the house is worth and end up having to forclose since they aren't a minority and make too much money to qualify for government assistance??? THE MOVIE PLOT:
· Main character: An average 40+ year old, hard working father, raising his family of 3 in a blue collar Iowa town (a swing state). Flash-backs with the family and friends that are still today a big part of his life. We will see via the flashbacks why some of his friends grew up left wing liberals and others right wing conservatives. In the beginning of the movie, he is still politically neutral. He’s not into politics that much. He has just never bothered to pay attention. He sometimes votes democrat (that’s what his single mom of 10 kids was). But, he voted for Reagan. He tried college to play football but got his girlfriend pregnant and was forced to make a decision – college and play football or work to support his new family. He left college after his first season of football where he lead the league in passing yards. He’s a smart guy. He’s earned respect from his peers by being a good friend (flash back to some fist fights where he had his “friend’s back”), did well in his classes, athlete, gave good advice, attended church, faithful to his wife.
· Story line: He fell for the liberal m
edia’s hype that Bush was so awful and Obama is the Savior. But, after he sees the radical changes, he starts to wise up and pay attention. He starts to realize that this isn’t “the change” he had envisioned. He starts to pay more attention. His town finally gets FOX News on their local cable. He sees the difference in the broadcast of CNN where everything Obama is doing is depicted as Okay vs. FOX News where they remove “the spin”. He has a discussion with two of his best friends. One a left wing liberal. The other a right wing conservative. It’s this conversation that is a defining moment for him. He now realizes that everything he believes in – values, America, Freedom, hard-working, hopes and dreams, appreciation of others’ rights (including the rights of the unborn), traditional marriage, God – defines him as a conservative Republican. Climax of the story is when the nationalized police force comes to his home to confiscate his guns. One of the officers is his liberal friend (he joined the force because there were no jobs except government jobs – the small companies were not hiring because of high taxes. During this exchange, he resists and as they are pulling his gun out of his hands, it goes off and shoots and kills his son. The news from that incident is the last story that FOX News tells on their final broadcast – they are being shut down because of the “Fairness Act”.
· The end (setting up for a sequel): Conservatives turn to the Internet to communicate and organize. The unproductive (non-working, non-tax paying) Americans come out and vote in force in the next election. Conservatives now realize that they can never get back the government – the non-productive voters outnumber them. They initiate PLAN B: move to Texas and secede from the Union. They stop paying taxes to the Federal Government. What do you think will happen when those who are working stop paying taxes? Think maybe a few more states might want to join the new America and start all over???? JJJ I LOVE CALIFORNIA AND WOULD HATE TO GIVE IT UP. BUT, I COULD LIVE IN A NICE HOME ON LAKE TRAVIS IN AUSTIN, TEXAS IF IT MEANT REMAINING AN AMERICAN. I’d rather live anywhere than what is about to become an ObamaNation. ObamaNation is not America!!! It used to be America.
FLASHBACKS:
SOME STUFF THE LIBERALS HAVE GIVEN US FOR OUR MOVIE:
My favorite is the professor who did a class experiment. I can see a Nick Nolte or a Bill Cosby in the role of a professor who influences our main character's life. In the movie, the professor runs this experiment: An economics professor at Texas Tech said he had never failed a single student before but had, once, failed an entire class. The class had insisted that socialism worked and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer. The professor then said ok, we will have an experiment in this class on socialism. All grades would be averaged and everyone would receive the same grade so no one would fail and no one would receive an A.
After the first test the grades were averaged and everyone got a B. The students who studied hard were upset and the students who studied little were happy. But,
as the second test rolled around, the students who studied little had studied even less and the ones who studied hard decided they wanted a free ride too; so they studied little..
The second Test average was a D! No one was happy.
When the 3rd test rolled around the average was an F..
The scores never increased as bickering, blame, name calling all resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for anyone else. All failed to their great surprise and the professor told them that socialism would ultimately fail because the harder it is to succeed the greater the reward but when a government takes all the reward away; no one will try or succeed.
